Maura joined the Nonprofit Loan Fund of Tucson and Southern Arizona as Director in June 2014 after more than two decades working as an independent consultant primarily to financial institutions, non-profits, and Native nations. Since moving to Tucson in 1999, Maura has consulted extensively with non-profits throughout Southern Arizona. Prior to that, Maura spent 11 years in banking, working for First Interstate Bank and Bankers Trust Company in Los Angeles and HomeFed Bank in San Diego. She worked in a variety of areas, including Fortune 500 company lending, foreign currency trading, international marketing, and consumer banking.

Maura has chaired the boards of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture in Scottsdale, Arizona/Spring Green, Wisconsin and the Women’s Foundation of Southern Arizona in Tucson, Arizona as well as served on numerous other nonprofit boards for the past several decades. Maura has a bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
